Follow-up

Follow-up is a flag. Marking a conversation for follow-up does not remove it from Inbox or Sent. It also appears in the Follow-up mailbox so you can return to it. Removing the flag clears it from Follow-up and leaves the conversation in its normal mailboxes.

Spam

Mark as spam hides the conversation from Inbox, Sent, and Follow-up and moves it to Spam. It does not block the sender. A later message from the same person is not automatically spam. Use Not spam to restore the conversation to its normal mailboxes. If it was flagged for follow-up, that flag is preserved when spam is applied and when it is removed.

Trash and Restore

Delete conversation hides the thread in Trash. Trash shows Restore only—organizational actions and the reply composer stay hidden until you restore. Restore returns the conversation to the mailbox it belongs in, including Spam or Follow-up when those states still apply.

Empty Trash

Empty Trash permanently deletes every conversation currently in Trash for your account. InboxNest asks for confirmation and uses singular or plural wording based on the count. This cannot be undone from the product.
