Forward Microsoft 365 or GoDaddy Email to InboxNest
Keep Microsoft 365 MX records in place and forward the branded mailbox to the destination shown in InboxNest.
When this guide applies
Use this page when the branded mailbox is on Microsoft 365. Many GoDaddy professional-email accounts are Microsoft 365 mailboxes even when the invoice says GoDaddy Email.
Where to sign in
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center or the mailbox you use for the branded address. GoDaddy Email users typically open the Microsoft 365 admin or mailbox tools GoDaddy links from the email product.
Mailbox forwarding controls
In the Microsoft 365 admin center, open the user or mailbox, then the mail forwarding / mailbox forwarding setting. Some tenants expose the same control in Outlook or Exchange admin. You are forwarding one mailbox, not rewriting the domain’s MX records.
Enter the InboxNest destination
Copy the private destination from the InboxNest setup screen and paste it as the forwarding address. Keep a copy in the mailbox if you still want mail to arrive in Outlook as well as InboxNest; that choice is yours, but InboxNest only needs the message to reach the displayed destination.

What not to delete
Leave Microsoft 365 MX records in place. Add InboxNest sending records only at the authoritative DNS host, using the values shown in InboxNest.
Return to InboxNest
Save forwarding, return to the domain setup screen, and click Verify setup. Then send a controlled message to the branded address.
Troubleshooting
If mail never arrives, confirm the mailbox you edited is the branded address and that MX records still point at Microsoft 365. See DNS troubleshooting.
